A coastal easter

Easter is nearly upon us and here on the Coast the weather is divine. Warm autumn days of 25 degrees, excitement as children get ready for an overdose of chocolate easter eggs - me, well I'm trying not to overdose on hot cross buns.

I'm making plans for spending most of it outdoors and since it is also the start of the school holidays, thinking about trips to the newly renovated Museum of Contemporary Art, visits to my family in the Blue Mountains and organising my son's 9th birthday.

Yesterday afternoon my daughter came home from pre school and had a short play date with her friends. It ended up being a paintfest. What a colourful start to the Easter break.
