While I Was Out - Brisbane Water Walk
One morning last week I was out for a walk along the path that hugs the shoreline of the crystal blue Brisbane Water between Gosford and Woy Woy. The water was deathly still and all I could hear was the gentle lapping of the water on the sea wall.
Along the way I met this man, who has been feeding the pelicans and seagulls here for the past 45 years. Further towards the town of Blackwall there is a large pelican colony. They sit on a sand bar looking like a black and white army. Sometimes I see them soar high in the sky over my house and I am always fascinated - imagining their view so high in the sky.
