This weekend on the Central Coast

When I first started blogging in 2008 it was partly to chronicle my move from the city to the Central Coast of New South Wales. However, the blogs, as blogs are want to do, morphed into a site that talks about all kinds of things but rarely anything ''seachangey'' or ''central coastey''.

So today I've listed some things that are happening around the coast if you want something to do outside of Sydney.

Saturday
The annual Pearl Beach Book Fair is open from 9am to 5pm at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall, 9 Diamond Drive, Pearl Beach. This event is in its 35th year. Pearl Beach is my favourite beach on the coast. You can check out more information about this gorgeous place at: http://pearlbeach.net.au/

Just around the corner is the Patonga Easter Fete. It's on at the corner of Bray and Brisk streets from 9am to 1pm. You'll find market stalls, a sausage sizzle and a chocolate wheel. Money raised from both events will go to local community projects.

The Avoca Beachside Markets are on at Hunter Park from 9am to 2pm. For more information got to http://www.avocabeachsidemarkets.vpweb.com.au/

Sunday
Mangrove Mountain Country Markets are on from 9am to 2pm. Traditional Easter food as well as fresh organic produce will be on sale. Take the time to venture up to the mountain for a wonderful day. Markets are held at the corner of Wisemanns Ferry Rd and Waratah Rd Mangrove Mountain.

Happy Easter!!
